Pandit Vijay Chandra is a Hindustani classical keyboard and synthesizer artist, admired across the classical music community for pioneering the presentation of ragas on electronic keys through rigorous study and performance. An ICCR‑empanelled performer and regular on Akashwani and Doordarshan, he has contributed background music to films such as Bedardi and Aandolan and collaborated with artists including Anup Jalota, Pinaz Masani, and Ahmed Hussain–Mohammad Hussain.

Born in Mirzapur to noted musicians Totaram and Maina Devi, he trained under Ustad Munnoo Khan, Shri Jindrapal Singh, and Kamla Bose, and holds a Prabhakar in Vocal Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti. Honors include the U.P. Kala Academy Award; he also introduced Keyboard as a Prabhakar degree subject at Prayag Sangeet Samiti in 2010, advancing formal education for the instrument.
